Nepalese ethnic fabrics – hand-woven from natural fibres
These colourful and vibrant fabrics are handmade from natural fibres at the foot of the Himalayas.
The authentic ethnic fabrics are made from 100% cotton, with individually dyed yarns and produced on hand looms. The traditional striped patterns are typical of Nepalese fabrics made from natural fibres.
Fair trade for a self-determined life for women in Nepal
We work with a non-profit organisation founded by Tara, our very strong and admirable partner. In line with the motto ‘Skillful women are every society’, this project gives women the opportunity to lead a self-determined life, step by step. Training, fair pay and thus financial independence, as well as schooling for their children, are important building blocks in this process.
